Subject: Love the speedy Dark Star
I like the sped-up Dark Star....not that there is anything wrong with the powerfully slow taffy notes, mind you, but it is a bit refreshing to be able to have a jig to it.

Subject: awesome
Always so thankful for those recording. Unfortunately, due to weird psychedelic experiences the husband started going through during Dark Star, we had to leave a bit early and missed a good part of the 2nd half. We left at Saint Stephen and I danced all the way up the hill. Even though we were leaving I was having a blast!

Subject: Phil Sing Mississippi Half Step?!
Aside from the Andy Falco from Infamous StringDusters guesting (Phil's been having the Dusters at Terrapin Crossroads) this arrangement is the slower somber P&F arrangement circa 1998-99. Refer to the "Love Will See You Through" live release for a very similar tempo and arrangement. Usually with Furthur JK or Bobby have handeld lead on Half-Step. Perhaps they we're feelin' it or maybe Phil's arrangement has been their standby recently? I personally love his version. Its really delicate.

Looks like a really solid show for a festival appearance.

You forgot the Don't Ease me In right after Dancing.

Subject: JGB Songs
Anyone else notice that they played a JGB song pretty much everyday of the tour...Runic and Cherise, Mission in the Rain, Midnight Hour, After Midnight, Comes a Time, Sugeree, Standing on the Moon! Righteous man! I also like how Bobby was the one belting these out for the most part. Although Johnny Boy gave justice to rubin and cherise...love it, ill fucking forever be a deadhead

Subject: Final bow for the summer
A great ending to a strong tour. Inventive setlist and some explorative playing. Perhaps not the best of the summer shows but like all Furthur worth a download and repeated joyful listenings.

Subject: Fantastic Show, Fantastic Recording
It looks and sounds as good as it does on paper. Very good.
